Marketing your practice doesn’t have to look one specific way.

You don’t need someone else to tell you the secret to building a successful practice. You need a clear picture of what you actually want and a realistic plan for building it.

What I Actually Do

(Also, hi! I’m Amanda. 👋)

Whether you’ve been chasing trends on Instagram, piecemealing SEO, shuddering at the thought of Google ads, or trying to organize approximately 700 ideas you had in the shower this morning, I’m here help you sort through the noise and figure out what actually deserves your attention.

In a Clarity Session we’ll take whatever feels messy in your marketing, look at what you actually want your practice to do for your life, and decide on your next move by working backward from there.

Bring Me the Messy Version.

Clarity Sessions

You don’t need to know which of the 394 things on your mind actually deserves your attention before meeting with me. That’s kind of the point.

Clarity Sessions are 60-minute, 1:1 consulting sessions where we untangle whatever feels messy in your marketing and figure out what actually makes sense for you. We’ll look at your actual goals, numbers, capacity, and priorities and work backward from there.

You can bring me questions about things like:

  • “I’m marketing everywhere and I feel like it’s getting me nowhere.”

  • “People are finding my website, but they’re not reaching out.”

  • “I know who I want to work with, but I don’t know how to talk about it without sounding like every other therapist.”

  • “I keep posting on Instagram, but it doesn’t turn into clients.”

  • “I know I need a better way to bring in clients, but I don’t know if that means SEO, Google Ads, Meta Ads, social media or something else entirely.”

  • “I’m getting inquiries, but they’re not the clients I actually want to work with.”

  • “I have a new service or idea and I don’t know how to market it.”

  • “I’ve tried a bunch of marketing things and I need someone to tell me what to fix first.”

The goal isn’t to leave with a longer to-do list. It’s to leave knowing what matters, what you’re doing next, and what you can stop worrying about for now.

Here’s How It Works

01. Book your session.

Choose a time that works for you and tell me a little about what’s going on. You don’t need to know the solution yet though, that’s what we’re here to figure out.

02. We untangle it together.

We’ll spend 60 minutes digging into what’s actually happening, what you want, and what makes sense for your practice. We’ll focus on the one or two things that would make the biggest difference right now.

03. Leave knowing your next move.

Within 1–2 business days, I’ll send you a concise recap of what we clarified, the decisions we made, and your next steps. No need to frantically take notes or remember everything we talked about.

You’ll leave knowing what matters now, what comes next, and what you can stop worrying about for the time being.

For extra clarity, here’s a real-life example:

01.

A therapist wanted to move off of insurance and have a completely self-pay practice. She came to me because she ran Google Ads before but they “didn’t work.” She thought she needed to start posting on Instagram to build her caseload but didn’t have the desire or time to devote to that.

02.

She told me what happened when she ran Google Ads and we found three issues.
1) She didn’t have a clear niche.
2) The ad linked to her general homepage.
3) She ran Google Ads for 3 weeks and expected instant results when paid ads require time and optimization.

03.

Her choice: She decided Instagram was not a realistic strategy for her and to try paid ads again.

The game plan: First, define her niche. Second, create a landing page that speaks to that niche. She booked another session in 3 weeks because she knows she needs external accountability.

Why Should I Trust You?

Great question, thank you for asking.

I’ve been a therapist in private practice since 2022, when I started my practice, Comma Co. When I transitioned to private pay, I taught myself how to run Google Ads—and they went on to generate about 90% of my referrals. I set up, optimized, and scaled those campaigns myself.

Before becoming a therapist, I worked in various marketing roles and eventually owned a photography business that I grew through a combination of organic and paid marketing, learning from invaluable mentors, and a tendency to be relentless in the pursuit of my dreams.

So I’ve put in A LOT of hours building my expertise in marketing and business—and I have an even deeper understanding of the challenges of building a private practice because I am one of you.

I’ve also been on the other side of this.

I know what it feels like to think there’s some secret you don’t know yet, and if you just pay the right coach enough money, you’ll finally figure it out. I learned that one the expensive way when I lost $10k+ on too-good-to-be-true promises and services that weren’t rendered. 😵

It changed the way I think about business advice.

I don’t believe there’s one version of a successful private practice, or one marketing strategy, every therapist should follow.

For me, success looks like having Fridays with my daughter and room in my week for other work that fills me up. That affects how much money my practice needs to make, how many clients I want to see, how I structure my schedule, and where I choose to put my time and energy.

Your version of success might look completely different—and your marketing decisions should too.

You probably already know what you want.

The hard part is keeping sight of that when you’re surrounded by approximately 700 things you could be doing—and even more opinions about what you should be doing.

That’s where I come in. I’ll help you sort through the noise, work backward from what you actually want, and figure out what deserves your attention right now.

Let’s Figure Out Your Next Move

You don’t need another six months of scrolling Instagram for hours, saving  inspiration you won’t look at again or another $5k group coaching program giving you one-size-fits-all strategies.

Bring me the messy version. We’ll sort through it together.
